Fl. 100mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls, yellow, creased and of membranaceous substance; the outer whorls roundish in outline, very broad, truncate, scarcely mucronate, spreading, plane, overlapping half or more; the inner whorls successively shorter, more inflexed and somewhat clustered towards the centre, concave or folded inwards along midrib, with margins incurling; the corona segments three-quarters the length of the outer perianth segments and interspersed among the inner perianth whorls, strong pink, lightly frilled or crumpled, with margins crenate. Early to mid-season.
